Goal

Better than yesterday!

If the goal is to constantly get better each day we live, I think we can safely say that we hit our goals every single day! We may not be looking at ourselves in this light but if we take the time to think about it, I think you’d agree with me that you learn something every day, feel something new every day, see something new…SOMEthing!

This week, we make it intentional. This week, we choose to be better than yesterday. How? Glad you asked! This week, we read a book or research a topic that has been ailing us!


Identify

In your journal, list three topics you would like to get better at in 2023. For me, my three were money management, blood pressure management, and social media content management.

After you list your three, look for books in those topics and list them next to each. This should provide you with a book selection to last you a couple of months. Here’s the kicker: you have to commit to reading them! BE INTENTIONAL. Read about what you truly want to grow in. Choose one book this week to read and then…READ IT! Once you’ve read it, open your journal back to this page, write about what the book gave you that strengthens your ability to conquer this topic.

Last week, my choice lead me to a book called “Get Good with Money” by Tiffany Aliche.
