Goal

As I write this passage, it is October. We have hit that classic weather October weather too: wake up in winter, summer by 2 pm, fall again by 7 pm? Pitch black by 8. This swing in weather Often causes what some like to call “seasonal depression.”

No matter the time of year you come to this, let’s set a goal right here and now that we simply won’t succumb to the overwhelming sadness that often gets in the way of our goals.

“I may FEEL sad today, but I will still get up and accomplish my daily goals.”


Identify

Grab your journal and let’s get busy!

First, make a list of all of the activities that usually brightens your spirit. My list has things like getting a mani/pedi, fresh air (going for a walk or something), driving down MLK Blvd in Cleveland. Make sure your list has no less than 7 things on it!

Beginning today, do at least one of those things each day of this week. Repeat in coming weeks as needed!
