Comfortable in the UNCOMFORTABLE: Call
Did you go live last week to talk about one of your products? How did that go? How did you feel? How long did you end up talking for? Grab your journal and answer those questions! If you did NOT do it, grab your journal and tell yourself WHY.
This week, we make a single phone call. Why are we doing that? Well, to get comfortable talking about your products, it helps to start talking to the people around you about what you do. It’s not a cold call per se…it’s a call to a friend or family member to talk about your products.
Identify
I will begin! But here’s what we are going to do…
Pick a product or service you want to promote this week and set the goal. Identify a friend that maybe don’t know a lot about this product. Get them on the phone and ask if they mind talking to you about it. Then simply start explaining your service or product or goal that you are trying to accomplish. Allow them to ask questions and answer them.
You can even tell them what this assignment is if you’d like.
